  15. @QBOchat @avalara @tsheets A1: Happy to see you, too. #QBOchat Oh bother, I am already ahead of myself. πŸ™ #ThursdayThoughts
  16. Q1: What some steps that an accountant or tax professional can follow to reinforce they are a trusted advisor? #QBOchat https://t.co/JaKEcnsfRB

  17. @laurenatinsynq @insynq Whoo! Let’s go, Seattle! Two apps reppin’ the Emerald City β€” love it. Welcome, Lauren! #qbochat
  18. Things are completely out of control here, I am drowning in 1099s #qbochat
  19. @QBOchat A1: an accountant or tax pro can reinforce they’re a trusted advisor by keeping their clients information secure in the cloud! Check out this article from the IRS!  http://bit.ly/2ms2VUe  #QBOChat
  20. A1: Automate as much as you can without losing quality and focus on higher-level work that highlights your expertise. #QBOchat
  21. @BizBooksCloud Oh no! So sorry to hear that, Brent. πŸ™ Please keep on swimming! #QBOchat pic.twitter.com/CC0cNxMt5h
  22. @MeganTarnow @BizBooksCloud @Track_1099 That is what we’ve used the last several years. It is too much work to make QBO right to get their system to spit them out #QBOchat
  23. #qbochat Shuyi from Bento popping in here to say hi. January is a tough month… Hope everyone is doing well! And our answer to Q1 would be: Be PROACTIVE rather than reactive!
  24. Thank but no, the hardest part is always the part you have to do yourself RT @QBOchat @BizBooksCloud Uh oh!! Do you need any help? #QBOchat
  25. @QBOchat Have a stellar onboarding process – if you can’t onboard them correctly, why will they trust you to do the rest right? #QBOchat
  26. @bentoforbiz Hi there, Shuyi! Happy Thursday. January is almost over. *insert vivacious yay!* πŸ™‚ #QBOchat
  27. @MeganTarnow @davidleary It was a GREAT webinar for sure! Thank you for attending, Megan!! #QBOchat
  28. @bentoforbiz Definitely!! I’m sure @lauraredmond and @AeroWorkflow would love it if everyone made sure their processes were all documented. It makes for a much more streamlined workflow. #QBOchat #efficiencies
  29. @Receipt_Kate And, cleanup work can be a big part of that and can delay onboarding. We are working on providing some tools to help with that! #QBOchat
  30. My internet seems to be choosing this moment to crap out on me #qbochat
  31. Q2: What training/resources are folks using to understand the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act #TCJA, and do any focus on TY18 tax planning? #QBOchat https://t.co/Nt0Vvft6fc

  32. @receipts_alicia I’m a #QBOchat rookie – too busy onboarding our new partners πŸ˜‰
  33. @receipts_alicia @Receipt_Kate No worries!! We got it! The most important part is to include #QBOchat in your tweets.
  34. A2: I think CPA Academy has had some training and I have several friends in tax that I can ask questions to. It is hard to know what is important on the bookkeeper side versus the tax professional side. #QBOchat
  35. @CathyIconis I would agree! I have seen a ton of different webinars and trainings available #QBOChat
  36. @MeganTarnow @tsheets @davidleary Just because there is only one industry for Nonprofits on the ProAdvisor site, doesn’t mean that’s true. #QBOchat
  37. Q3: Automation saves countless workflow hours for accountants and tax pros. What are some of your favorite features/tools and why? #QBOchat https://t.co/u0JofDyhiz

  40. A3: @ReceiptBank and @1_tap_apps , both are tied for my top favorite automation. The OCR capabilities are out of this world! #qbochat #effortlessbookkeeping #effortlesstaxseason
  41. @MeganTarnow @Receipt_Kate @receipts_alicia They can use the “Great White-Out”. It’s a different product. #QBOchat πŸ™‚
  42. Hey all – wanted to say “Hi” I’m sort of lurking while working. (is that wurking?) #qbochat
  43. A3: @Hubdoc can pull bank statements, payroll reports, etc for easy verification versus the books. #QBOchat
  44. A3: Just @QuickBooks bank feed saves hours for anyone. I just wish more people understood it and used it. Get rid of the one bill for Amex with line items for each transaction from the statement! #QBOchat
  45. A3: Hubdoc of course – to pull statements! and using rules in QBO – #gamechanger #QBOchat
  46. A3: I know the trial balance feature in QBO and the sync to Proconnect is pretty cool. I just don’t use it. #QBOchat
  47. I made a new hashtag!! RT @QBOchat: @AeroWorkflow That has to be a new #QBOchat hashtag. Who is #wurking today??
  48. Q4: What are some of your favorite features in QBOA and PTO? #QBOchat https://t.co/WmtEopLXrX

Q4: What are some of your favorite features in QBOA and PTO? #QBOchat pic.twitter.com/WmtEopLXrX
  49. @CathyIconis @QuickBooks I just got a new clients whose old accountant manually keyed in all the transactions instead of connecting the bank. WWWHHHYYYY would anyone do that? #QBOchat
  50. A4: With bankfeeds, I like being able to see what’s going on from a higher level for all clients. Who has new transactions, who needs to be closed, etc. #QBOchat
  51. Same reason my old boss used to manually add up numbers in a spreadsheet. Computers can’t be trusted! #QBOchat  https://twitter.com/SherrellTMartin/status/956626056848474112 β€¦
  52. @AeroWorkflow That is why you are supposed to put controls in your work to make sure you catch errors. #preachingtothechoir #QBOchat
  53. A4: I’ve been using reclassify transactions to do a quick scan that revenue and expense transactions look like they are in the right place. #QBOchat
  54. @SherrellTMartin @MeganTarnow @QuickBooks Accountants still don’t know all the tools that are available to them. πŸ™ #QBOchat
