  21. @sosinventory Yeah, I thought you were just helping all those @QBOnline users that needed good inventory support. #qbochat
  22. QBO inventory is available only in QBO Plus, and it tracks only quantity on hand. #qbochat
  23. RT @IconisGroup Q1: What are the current limitations of @QBOnline‘s Inventory System? #QBOchat
  24. @sosinventory That’s what I like about it, dual meanings with cultural background #qbochat
  25. A1: QBO inventory does not support sales orders, multiple locations, assemblies, serial numbers, lot numbers, etc. #qbochat
  26. RT @sosinventory A1: QBO inventory does not support sales orders, multiple locations, assemblies, serial numbers, lot numbers, etc. #qbochat
  27. It’s not possible? Right? RT @IconisGroup Q1: What are the current limitations of @QBOnline‘s Inventory System? #QBOchat#qbochat
  28. Yes – from an inventory perspective – just basic counting and costing. Nothing even similar to QB desktop. #qbochat
  29. .@QBOnline does not have industry specific feature like sales order, inventory assemblies or reorder points. #QBOchat
  30. @sosinventory So that people understand, businesses do like to track inventory held by others, in shipment, etc? What else? #qbochat
  31. I would think that a lot of manufacturing businesses would need assembly items at a minimum. #qbochat
  32. @CathyIconis Yes – many times you want to track inventory stored at a 3rd-party, for example. #qbochat
  33. By the way, disclaimer everyone – I’m NOT an inventory expert (or even close). #qbochat
  34. RT @sosinventory @CathyIconis Yes – many times you want to track inventory stored at a 3rd-party, for example. #qbochat
  35. And also yes – absolutely – for any manufacturer tracking both raw materials and finished goods is key #qbochat
  36. @sosinventory Can you feed several sales orders into one invoice in @QBOnline? How does that work? #qbochat
  37. .@sosinventory can help you bridge the feature gap between QBD kind of =s QBO + SOSinventory #qbochat
  38. @CathyIconis Sure. You can handle multiple shipments per sales order, multiple invoices per shipment, or any combination #qbochat
  39. @sosinventory is flexible enough to bundle them and group together as needed #qbochat
  40. Sweet! (re: Sales Orders) RT @sosinventory @sosinventory is flexible enough to bundle them and group together as needed #qbochat

  42. @tsheets knows my crazy moment of last week when I actually tried to “like” an email they sent me! #toosocial? #qbochat
  43. Why does the sales order not have a place for item desc? #qbochat
  44. @davidleary – That is a big reason that we exist. We can help @QuickBooks users move to QBO from desktop #qbochat
  45. RT @sosinventory @davidleary – That is a big reason that we exist. We can help @QuickBooks users move to QBO from desktop #qbochat
  46. A2: SOS Inventory synchronizes data with QBO, so changes that you make in one place will show up in the other. #qbochat
  47. Deep integration between @SOSInventory and @QBOnline reduces data entry errors and frees up your time. #QBOchat
  48. A2 via the “Connect to QuickBooks” button and the @ippdev #qbochat
  49. A2: That way you can see your items, customers, invoices, etc. in either place, and limit staff access as needed. #qbochat

  55. Hmmm. About time for my annual LinkedIn update. 😉 #qbochat
  56. 100% serious…other inventory apps don’t integrate that easily, because they don’t use QuickBooksAPI. #qbochat
  57. Let’s do it! RT @rabshaka21 @CathyIconis Should we bum rush Neal’s linkedin page? 🙂 #qbochat #QBOChat
  58. Let’s do it! RT @rabshaka21 @CathyIconis Should we bum rush Neal’s linkedin page? 🙂 #qbochat #QBOChat

  68. RT @sosinventory A3: SOS Inventory allows you to set up assemblies (manufactured goods) or kits / item groups / bundles. #qbochat
  69. @sosinventory Do you have reorder points or notices if the different items within the assembly get low? #qbochat

  71. Assemblies, kits, jobs, WIP, labor, overhead. @SOSInventory can handle all of this and more! #QBOchat

  78. @CathyIconis Pick tickets and packing slips don’t show prices – just the items and quantities. #qbochat
  79. I remember that being an internal control that we looked for when I was an auditor. #qbochat
  80. @sosinventory What do you think is one of the biggest struggles for you clients prior to using your product? #qbochat

  83. @SOSInventory @IconisGroup Loved learning about this great product. Gotta run but we’ll see you in the @Intuit app center! ♥ #QBOChat
  84. @SOSInventory @IconisGroup Loved learning about this great product. Gotta run but we’ll see you in the @Intuit app center! ♥ #QBOChat
  85. @sosinventory @Cathyiconis I have a dumb question, why don’t you want pick tickets to show the prices? #qbochat
  86. @rabshaka21 If I remember correctly, you don’t want your employees to see prices (or the people receiving the items). #qbochat
  87. .@SOSInventory has full support for multi-location inventory. Always know exactly where your goods are. #QBOchat
  88. @rabshaka21 If you spend a lot of time looking at the prices, you might be more tempted to steal. #qbochat
  89. @rabshaka21 What @CathyIconis said. Or also you could be tempted to share confidential cost info. #qbochat
  90. RT @sosinventory @rabshaka21 What @CathyIconis said. Or also you could be tempted to share confidential cost info. #qbochat

  92. @davidleary I need to show you more love don’t I? Have I been to mean?? #qbochat
  93. @CathyIconis Only minor issues. We’ve been integrating with @QBOnline for almost 5 years, so not many problems now. #qbochat

RT @sosinventory Experience is a great teacher. #qbochat

  100. @rabshaka21 We used @QBOnline back then because we all worked remotely, and hosting QB desktop on a server was too pricey. #qbochat
  101. RT @sosinventory We used @QBOnline back then because we all worked remotely, and hosting QB desktop on a server was too pricey. #qbochat

  112. @CathyIconis Don’t sweat it. It is confusing if you don’t deal with it a lot. Discrete = same thing every time. Process = can vary #qbochat

#QBOchat began in July 2013 with the simple idea to host a weekly Twitter conversation around QuickBooks Online (QBO). We have since grown into a very strong community comprised of a diverse group of users. Our weekly tweet chat is held each Thursday at 3:00PM Eastern. The discussions cover a wide range of topics including QBO’s latest features and updates, business operation tips and apps that integrate with QBO, to name just a few.
