  80. A client decided to pay me by Bill Pay check every month to save me the fees, I cuss him every time I have to deposit it 🙂 #QBOchat

  86. @BizBooksCloud We have clients that will mail us checks and not tell us and I do not go to our post office box every day lol. #QBOchat
  87. Does anyone have a #nocheck policy? It sounds like we might be going that way! #QBOchat
  88. I love Chase! I do mobile deposits with them RT @CathyIconis I really don’t understand why Chase is so behind! #QBOchat
  89. @BizBooksCloud Hubdoc doesn’t pull over all their docs though, right? I thought that was the bank I was confused by. #QBOchat
  90. A3. For mobile payments – (1) manual swipe, (2) auto sync, (3) auto receipt #qbochat
  91. We try to discourage it! RT @CathyIconis Does anyone have a #nocheck policy? It sounds like we might be going that way! #QBOchat
  92. @QBOchat A3 I LOVE that I can see when in QBO a customer viewed invoice & communicate back and forth if there are questions #qbochat
  93. @vheckman @QBOchat I really haven’t done that yet – but usually they pay as soon as I send over the invoice! It’s awesome! #QBOchat
  94. Hi everyone, Cliff with ClockShark here joining late. Nice to see you all. #QBOchat
  95. I’ve started taking the swiper to QBO consults. Most clients offer to pay at the end of the session so why not let them?! #QBOchat
  96. A2: 1) It’s secure, 2) Get Paid Faster, 3) It’s a new era – It’s 2016 not 1990… It’s about the Customer #QBOChat  https://twitter.com/QBOchat/status/763817483010711552
  97. I don’t know of any problems with it RT @CathyIconis Hubdoc doesn’t pull over all their docs though, right? I thought #QBOchat
  98. I have a Acct and a biz Consultant customers that only accept CC starting 10 years ago and say it is the best thing they have done. #QBOchat
  99. We have international clients that want to send wires – fees are ridiculous and also the money never ever comes same day #QBOchat

  103. @wearecollbox We like how you guys are streamlining collections. Nice work. That whole thing was ripe to be solved. #QBOchat
  104. @QBOchat A4: PayPal & Stripe … Customer tracking limitations with Stripe, though. #QBOchat
  105. Just started using vendwolla & dwolla for a client that I am doing manual payroll, as their only employee is a Puerto Rico resident #QBOchat
  106. For QBO though, it is extra work A4: @ZoomBBC uses Stripe for our CC processing. It is easy to code and the backoffice is easy #QBOchat
  107. A4: Yes, it works well. It collects and ACH’s to my bank account in 2 days, then my bank feeds QBO. #QBOchat
  108. @QBOchat A4: @ignitionapp fully automated collection, invoice to qbo and reconciliation all off of your contract #shamelessplug #QBOchat
  109. For the group: Have any of your clients offered to pay with Venmo or Google Wallet? #QBOchat
  110. @AmyWalkerCPA Have you paid anything via FB? I just did that the other day for the lawn guy. #QBOchat
  111. Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay are growing demand. Encrypts transaction for higher level of safety on CC. #QBOchat
  112. We used @venmo to pay the babysitter this summer but haven’t used it for business yet. #QBOchat
  113. @CathyIconis Really!? That’s crazy! @Snapchat also accepts payments. When will physical currency no longer exist? @AmyWalkerCPA #QBOchat
  114. @AmyWalkerCPA Nothing yet, but it makes me nervous still. For some reason I feel more comfortable with venmo having my info than FB #QBOchat
  115. A4: Business Payments – a tool that facilitates receiving payments #qbochat
  116. Apple Pay is coming out with ability to pay online which will be a great fraud reducer! #QBOchat
  117. @QBOchat A4. @ChargeOver Works w/ QB payments & many others. Additional functions recurring/subscription based biz especially #qbochat
  118. I have had the Bitcoin option on my invoices for a couple of years, no takers yet #QBOchat
  119. @jazfun Yeah – and wants it faster!! The lawn guy called, knocked on the door, FB’d, etc just to get pd while I was on the phone!! #QBOchat
  120. I actually have been studying that there are alot of 40+ users with Apple/Android Pay. #QBOchat
  121. @CathyIconis Agree! I’m anticipate the day that FB knows every detail of our lives. 😉 #QBOchat
  122. Thanks @getclockshark CollBox was the solution I wanted for my business. So fortunate that we can also help so many others! #QBOChat
  123. My college kid and his friends mostly use Venmo. Starting to see HS kids, too. #QBOchat
  124. @wearecollbox Definitely a good way to understand the problem space. Scratch your own itch. 🙂 #QBOchat
  125. @expensify @CathyIconis no kidding! Everyone is talking chip readers; I just want to scan my eyeball or something to pay ? #qbochat
  126. Q5: What are some things you wish you could do with QuickBooks Payments but can’t yet? #QBOchat
  127. @ZoomBBC & @wearecollbox had a great collaborate session last Friday to discuss how to help each other. They have a cool concept! #QBOchat
  128. @vheckman @expensify And half the businesses aren’t setup to use their chip readers yet #QBOchat
  129. A4. I love the Intuit Payments card swiper makes it so easy to take payments on your phone. #QBOchat
  130. @CathyIconis @expensify I can’t wait til we look back on 2016 and laugh at the “chip vs swipe” retail woes #QBOchat
  131. @CathyIconis @vheckman You swipe, then chip, then swipe again… finally the cashier tells you what needs to be done! #QBOchat
  132. @QBOchat A5: I wish there were a way to auto collect the credit card info for recurring sales receipts. Hate getting that info! #QBOchat
  133. They are calling the chip 10 sec read “micro embarrassment”! #QBOchat
  134. A4: Business Payments uses QBO Payments API and automatically creates Sales Receipts #qbochat
  135. Combined with QBO, there is! RT @CalebLJenkins A5: I wish there was an option to Auto-Invoice & Auto-Collect payment #QBOchat
  136. @QBOchat A5: Wishful thinking, can QB Payments just pay my bills for me with money that isn’t mine? #QBOchat
  137. @BizBooksCloud @expensify @vheckman Remember that the next time you are checking out somewhere with a chip! #QBOchat
  138. Just a few minutes left for this week’s #QBOchat. What is your favorite take away? #QBOchat
  139. @expensify @QBOchat LOL! I was wishfully going to ask you to do that for me! 🙂 #QBOChat
  140. With Stripe, you can subscription bill/collect monthly. Which is why we switched to them for our @ZoomBBC product. #QBOchat
  141. @ZoomBBC I think most Apps out there use Stripe – which is why it is important for it to integrate well with QBO! #QBOchat
  142. I liked hearing about the other apps that will streamline payments! #QBOchat
  143. @CathyIconis @ZoomBBC uh, you could probably find the fees cheaper somehow but the pricing is fair and it’s straightforward #QBOchat
  144. The fees are very fair. Their back office system is good and very straight forward. They also don’t hold the money for 7+ days. #QBOchat
  145. And, if anyone is interested in writing for the website, hit @CathyIconis up!! #QBOchat
  146. As long as fees are the LAST consideration, I guess they are worth looking at RT @CathyIconis I’m guessing their fees are good too? #QBOchat
  147. @QBOchat Thanks for another entertaining round of #QBOchat. See you all next week 🙂 #QBOchat
  148. Next week’s topic is #SmallBizAppShowdown App Introductions. Schedule it on your calendar now! #QBOchat
  149. @QBOchat Fave takeaway- sounds like those who use QB Payments with clients love it! ❤️ #QBOchat
  150. That’s it for this week’s #QBOChat, thanks for taking the time to tweet with us! #QBOchat

We have since grown into a very strong community comprised of a diverse group of users. Our weekly tweet chat is held each Thursday at 3:00PM Eastern. The discussions cover a wide range of topics including QBO’s latest features and updates, business operation tips and apps that integrate with QBO, to name just a few.
