App IntroductionA couple of weeks ago, we posted about a different type of tweet chat that we’re incorporating on the #QBOchat schedule, New App Intros, as a way to celebrate and introduce Apps who are published on For our first intro chat, we were joined by AeroWorkflow, BeanworksAP,, Expensify, GotoMyHub, Infusionsoft, Ledgerdocs, Partiallyapp, PipeMonk, HouseCallPro, SellerActive, Timely, and Vendwolla. @AeroWorkflow is an accounting workflow management and practice management designed by accountants for accountants. It is largely for accounting firms and accounting departments within businesses. Key features include integration with QuickBooks Online, the ability to schedule repeating tasks, the Aero Library, and mobile optimization. They offer easy monthly pricing, based on firm size, starting at just $39 a month. No long term contracts required. Visit the website to sign-up for a free 30-day trial.

@BeanworksAP is a cloud-based, an AP automation solution, with software designed to make the accounts payable process a breeze. The app helps companies automate as a way to speed up the process from invoice to payment for a lower cost, more efficient workflow. The company has a strong emphasis on providing opportunities to women in tech with 85 percent of the management team being female. App benefits include synchronization to QuickBooks Online, an ePayment rebate program, and ease of managing multiple companies. Pricing can be found here. With one million registered business accounts on the @billcom network, payments become more efficient. provides ACH payments processing, and automates the accounts payable and accounts receivable process with insight into cashflow. The app features a streamlined approval process where users can attached all documents for approval request in-app, mobile app approval, audit trail capability, and a notes feature for collaboration. Interested in expense reports that don’t suck? Try @expensify, an app for importing expenses directly from a credit card to create expense reports quickly. It is ideal for business travelers and companies looking for a paperless, mobile, user friendly solution. Customers love how easy the app is to use, direct deposit reimbursement, and real time updates. The pricing model is simple, customers only pay if they’re active, starting at just $5 a month. @GotoMyHub is a web-based portal for customers to log-in and view their invoice and accounting history. It features a responsive layout, real-time integrations, awesome support, easy set-up, and customizable fonts in a safe and secure app. It is built specifically as an add-on to QuickBooks Online, it’s not a standalone app or used on other systems. Pricing is based on the number of customers and starts at $15 per month.

Use @Infusionsoft to automate small business sales and marketing, while combining CRM, email marketing, lead capture and e-commerce in one place. Infusionsoft started as a small business and more than half of their employees have owned or worked at a small business. Infusion Connect is the app available to connect QuickBooks Online and Infusion. Connect syncs four main things: orders-invoices, payments, contacts, and products. Infusionsoft Connect is $29 a month and Infusionsoft starts at $199 a month.

Bridge the communication gap between bookkeepers, accountants, small business owners and clients around financial documents regardless of location using @ledgerdocs. It offers a customized experience, uploads in seconds, simple searching, viewing documents up close, collaboration with others, app integration and documents on the go to handle receipts, expenses, and revenue. Pricing starts at $10 per client. The more clients you bring on board the cheaper it is.

@partiallyapp helps small businesses with collections by making it easy for them to offer custom payment plans with QuickBooks Online invoices. A key feature is customer flexibility, allowing customers to set a range to pay a higher or lower down payment, reduce or increase the term, and reduce or increase the payment frequency. Pricing is simple and transparent, at five percent plus $0.30 per transaction, with all fees and costs included, even credit card processing fees.

An integration platform designed to automate data transfer between accounting, ecommerce, and CRM, @pipe_monk was launched to help solve disconnected apps and redundant manual data entry. Pipemonk is unique because of its deep and powerful integrations, an easy to use interface, amazing customer support, and one stop integration solutions. Pricing starts at $49 a month and increases to $249 a month based on the number of apps integrated. They offer a commitment free trial with all plans, and a new affiliate program for QuickBooks ProAdvisors.

@HouseCallPro is an all-in-one tool that enables service professionals to run their entire business from their smartphone, as well as advanced scheduling and dispatching, and customer marketing campaigns through a web portal. The target market for the app is home service providers such as carpet cleaners, HVAC, plumbing, electricians, and window/power washers. HouseCallPro is free for single owner/operators with premium pricing based on the amount of users. There is a 30-day money back guarantee. It also offers certification for QuickBooks ProAdvisors.

@SellerActive is a cloud-based inventory management platform for online retailers/marketplaces who want to streamline and grow their business, providing e-commerce tools to help manage inventory, orders, and pricing. Features include multichannel inventory control; order management through your website, Amazon, eBay, Etsy or other marketplaces; and industry leading customer support. It offers a 30-day money back guarantee for the first month and never charges any transaction or hidden fees, with free setup. Pricing is a flat rate starting at $299 a month, or $239 a month with an annual contract.

@Timely is booking software for small businesses, mainly in the health and beauty industries. It’s loved most by beauty therapists, hair stylists, makeup and nail artists, massage therapists, personal trainers, and yoga and Pilates instructors. Timely works in the cloud, using your existing devices to keep data secure and backed-up. It organizes an appointment schedule, sends reminders to help reduce no-show appointments, and generates powerful business reports. Pricing is simple with no fixed term contracts. Users can get started for just $19 a month. A partner program for QuickBooks ProAdvisors is also offered.

@vendwolla provides one click electronic payments to QuickBooks Online vendors. It retrieves your vendors with open bills from QBO, sends money from your account, and records the payment back in QBO. It was inspired by companies looking to streamline the process paying lots of independent contractors. Users can pay one or a hundred vendors with one click, never exposing sensitive banking information, and it offers easy checking account reconciliation. Pricing is currently $0.25 per transaction with no minimums. The service is currently free during the beta period.
