What do you enjoy most about participating in #QBOchat each week?

I really enjoy witnessing and being a part of the camaraderie within the #QBOchat; it is a great feeling to see everybody fostering trusting relationships and supporting one another in our individual endeavors.

How did you find out about #QBOchat?

#QBOchat came up quite a few times, but I mostly heard about it through the grapevine in the Intuit community. I spoke to a few people who participated and decided to give it a try for myself!

What do you do?

Besides being the greatest mom and wife in the world (haha!), I am also a real estate and property management guru when it comes to QuickBooks. Overall, though, I guide my clients through strategically implementing and enforcing good accounting practices for their businesses.

What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients?

Frequently I find that real estate investors to whom I speak are not confident or quick in working with their numbers, and this tends to boil down to inaccurate financials. I help them gain reassurance and show them “the power of the moment”–how taking action now yields better results than putting it off.

What are you most passionate about professionally?

I am extremely passionate about helping my clients reach their “aha!” moment: when their financials make sense to them and they can undoubtedly know their equity both by property and cumulatively across the board.

What topics interest you that you connect with others about? (kids, travel, work, tv, etc – it can be anything)

I really enjoy talking with other people about what’s new in science and the latest technological trends over some of my favorite recipes from my Grandma. If you have any good recipes to recommend, shoot me a message!

What topic would you like to see in a future #QBOchat?

Looking into the future, I would like to discuss topics that are different from the typical accounting and bookkeeping talk that I always see. One subject that comes to mind is how to scale your business with the right team.

Anything else you’d like us to know?

If you ever find yourself in the Greater Philadelphia area, feel free to reach out to me! I will gladly give you a tour around town and even give you some valuable insight into the real estate industry.

QBOchat Admin

#QBOchat began in July 2013 with the simple idea to host a weekly Twitter conversation around QuickBooks Online (QBO). We have since grown into a very strong community comprised of a diverse group of users. Our weekly tweet chat is held each Thursday at 3:00PM Eastern. The discussions cover a wide range of topics including QBO’s latest features and updates, business operation tips and apps that integrate with QBO, to name just a few.
