1099-Misc Control Sheet (Google Sheet Template)

We know that 1099 season can be hard to manage for any bookkeeping or accounting firm. There are a ton of things to think about, like making sure you have all the correct accounting information. This template control sheet allows you to manage 1099 preparation for your firm. We use a Google Sheet so that it can be used collaboratively across your team. The 1099-Misc Control Sheet is separated into 2 main functions to organize the status of 1099-Misc preparation:

1. At the firm level by listing all clients and providing checkboxes for completion of each phase of 1099 preparation.
   
2. At the client level by listing all vendors and providing checkboxes and informational boxes to manage each phase of the individual 1099s.

You will also get a link to view the file with instructions on how to download into Excel if you’d prefer to use it that way.

Note: Spreadsheet has been updated to say 2019. There were no changes to the form for 2019 other than the year.
