We know that year-end can be a crazy time of year for any bookkeeping or accounting firm. So, we wanted to help you make sure you are covering your bases. This template control sheet allows you to manage year-end preparation for your firm. We use a Google Sheet so that it can be used collaboratively across your team. The Year-End Checklist is separated into 2 main functions to organize the status of Year-End preparation:
- At the firm level by listing all clients and providing checkboxes for completion of each phase of year-end.
- At the client level by listing the checklist and the different phases of work. The list is pretty extensive, but it is not meant to be all-inclusive of everything that might need to be completed for your client.
Upon purchase, you will get a link to the Year-End Checklist, which is a Google Sheet. You will be prompted to make a copy of the template for your use.
You will also get a link to view the file with instructions on how to download into Excel if you’d prefer to use it that way.
