In 2008 founders, Paul Grey and Ashley Schroder were struggling with their Amazon accounting. They worked out what was involved in proper accrual accounting for Amazon transactions. In 2010, this process was automated for their own Amazon business. In 2014, they realised if they were having this problem, millions of others would be experiencing the same difficulties. In 2015 their solution was redeveloped to be a professional-quality software product and launched it as A2X.
